TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Albstadt plans the new construction of the Eyachtal fire station in the Lautlingen district. The existing fire stations in the three local districts no longer meet today’s requirements for modern fire service operations in functional, technical and structural terms and have a considerable need for refurbishment. In surveying the refurbishment effort and/or the costs for necessary replacement buildings, the project group building optimization carried out an intensive investigation of the need and possible synergies of a central new build. As a result, the concept of a central common site for the 3 existing fire service departments Lautlingen, Laufen and Margrethausen was adopted by the municipal council in a joint site concept. The City therefore now intends to construct a new shared fire station for the Volunteer Fire Department of Albstadt in the Eyachtal area.
