TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Albstadt plans the new construction of the Eyachtal fire station in the Lautlingen district. The existing fire stations in the three local districts no longer meet today’s requirements for a modern fire-fighting operation in functional, technical and structural terms and show a considerable need for refurbishment. In determining the refurbishment effort and/or the costs for necessary replacement buildings, the project group Gebäudeoptimierung (building optimization) intensively investigated the need and possible synergies of a central new build. As a result, the concept of a central shared site for the 3 existing fire department units in Lautlingen, Laufen and Margrethausen was decided by the municipal council as part of a shared site concept. The City therefore now aims to construct a new shared fire station for the volunteer fire brigade of Albstadt in the Eyachtal area.
