TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Contract concerns the transportation by city bus(es) of the public, defense personnel, and non-defense personnel to and from events organized by Defense. In addition to transport to and from the event site, the necessary supervision and guidance during the execution must also be arranged. The required services under this Contract consist of the following components: - Transporting the public, defense personnel, and non-defense personnel with various types of articulated and non-articulated city buses during (mainly) Defense-organized events; - Setting up a shuttle service to and from the nearest NS station or other locations; - Providing a Chief Coordinator for reconnaissance and drawing up a traffic and transport plan (including advice on the number and types of wheelchair buses needed for required wheelchair transport); - Providing traffic controllers and traffic equipment such as a command vehicle or a safety coordinator, creating bus stops and staging areas along the routes, etc. (see Program of Requirements); - For each event, drafting and being able to execute an emergency plan to quickly evacuate the event site in case of an emergency; - For each event, setting up a…
