The project aims to establish an enterprise-wide data hub and a central source for consolidated and validated data by extracting, transforming, and loading data from various source systems and files into a Datawarehouse. The infrastructure relies on a cloud-native approach, specifically Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft technology stack, favoring Azure Managed Services/Applications and those included in Microsoft 365 E5 licenses.

Key deliverables and functionalities for the Financial Planning and Forecasting Tool include:

• Data entry masks with authorization groups for planning and forecasting values, covering planning at account and account group levels, and different views such as cost centers, profit centers, departments, cash flows, and repayment plans.
• Consolidation and aggregation of inputs, enabling comparison with actual and prior plan data to generate profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Integration with source and target systems like ERP, Datawarehouse, and reporting tools to facilitate data transfer and inter-system communication.
• The capability to model various scenarios and plan versions, including scenario calculations and driver models.

The project also emphasizes robust, resilient, and high-performance data processing. Services will partly be delivered on-site in Vienna, and a framework agreement with a single contractor is planned for 48 months.
