TENDER DESCRIPTION

This public procurement has as its object the execution of the works related to the investment objective “Restoration and durable valorisation of the cultural heritage of the Municipality of Făgăraș – Architectural Ensemble of Făgăraș Fortress – Castle and North Guard Building – South Guard Building and Gate Entrance Tower”. The investment aims at carrying out restoration, strengthening, rehabilitation and enhancement interventions on an ensemble classified as a historic monument of national importance, with the purpose of preserving the built cultural heritage, improving the technical and functional condition of the buildings, as well as increasing the tourist and cultural attractiveness of the Municipality of Făgăraș, in accordance with the provisions of the Funding Agreement no. 831/30.06.2026. The works that are the subject of the contract shall be executed in accordance with the approved technical-economic documentation, with the opinions and agreements issued for the investment, as well as with the applicable technical and legislative regulations in the field of construction and protection of historic monuments.
