TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Lyon Metropolis has competence for managing river stops. As such, the Arbres et Fleuves department provides maintenance and upkeep of: - around twenty small river stops on the Rhône and the Saône, - a larger stop (with access to potable water and electricity) that the town of Givors transferred to the Lyon Metropolis - and, lastly, the water area of the Confluence basin (darse), its river stop and the associated boat mooring facility (capitainerie), which are the subject of this contract. As a genuine tourist gateway for the conurbation, the capitainerie offers a complete range of services: water, electricity, showers, laundry facilities, wifi and also tourist information. In 2025, it welcomed nearly 400 boats from 22 different nationalities, with an average stay of one to two nights. This contract concerns the management of the Confluence river stop, its capitainerie, as well as the basin (darse) and all the associated nautical facilities.
