TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Ghent is looking for a collective transport solution for employees of companies located at The Loop. The focus is on improving accessibility of the western hub, which is currently not served by public transport. Through the collective transport solution, a connection to/from Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station will be established. The services to be provided are: Shuttle service between Gent-Sint-Pieters and The Loop. For employees of companies at The Loop, a collective transport solution by shuttle bus is provided between Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station and The Loop. Based on a fixed route, with fixed timetables, two to three stops and a reservation system, employee transport is organised. The contractor shall, for 3 years, provide the operation and management of a sufficiently large shuttle (of at least 18 persons) commuting during the morning and evening peak hours on weekdays (except on public holidays) according to a specific timetable.
