TENDER DESCRIPTION

The St-Maurice secondary school and high school (Lycée-Collège) accommodates approximately 1'100 students, supported by around one hundred teachers. With a long-standing educational tradition, this landmark site plays a key role in upper-secondary education in the canton of Valais and enjoys a well-established reputation. The school is divided into two separate sites: * the Lycée-Collège site located immediately adjacent to the railway station and the old town of Saint-Maurice; * the Sports Zone site, next to the municipality’s sports facilities. These two sites are located just over 300 metres apart, i.e. about five minutes’ walk. The extension and transformation project for the Lycée-Collège includes the construction, to the north-west of the site, of a new wooden pavilion comprising a basement and four levels. It also includes the renovation of the Boarding School (Internat), which is the property of the Abbey of Saint-Maurice, as well as the transformation of the existing building shaped like an H.
