TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Lycée-Collège de Saint-Maurice has around 1,100 students, supported by a hundred teachers. With a long-standing educational tradition, this landmark site plays a key role in upper-secondary education in the canton of Valais and enjoys a well-established reputation. The school is split across two separate sites: * the Lycée-Collège site, located in immediate proximity to Saint-Maurice railway station and the old town; * the Sports Zone site, next to the municipality’s sports facilities. These two sites are a little more than 300 metres apart, i.e. about five minutes’ walk. The extension and transformation project for the Lycée-Collège includes, on the north-west side of the site, the construction of a new wooden pavilion comprising a basement and four levels. It also includes the renovation of the Internat, which is owned by the Abbey of Saint-Maurice, as well as the conversion of the existing H-shaped building.
