TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Lycée-Collège of Saint-Maurice welcomes around 1'100 students, supervised by about a hundred teachers. With a long tradition of education, this landmark site plays a key role in secondary-school training in the canton of Valais, and enjoys a well-established reputation. The school is spread across two separate sites: * the Lycée-Collège site, located in the immediate vicinity of Saint-Maurice station and the old town; * the Sports Zone site, next to the municipality’s sports facilities. These two sites are a little more than 300 metres apart, i.e. around a five-minute walk. The extension and transformation project for the Lycée-Collège includes, on the north-west side of the site, the construction of a new wooden pavilion comprising a basement and four levels. It also includes the renovation of the Boarding School (Internat), which is owned by the Abbaye de Saint-Maurice, as well as the conversion of the existing H-shaped building.
