TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Lycée-Collège of Saint-Maurice welcomes around 1'100 students, supervised by a hundred teachers. With a long-standing educational tradition, this emblematic site plays a key role in upper-secondary education in the canton of Valais, and enjoys a well-established reputation. The school is spread across two separate sites: * the Lycée-Collège site, located immediately close to the train station and the old town of Saint-Maurice; * the Sports Zone site, adjacent to the commune’s sports facilities. These two sites are just over 300 metres apart, i.e. about a five-minute walk. The extension and transformation project for the Lycée-Collège provides for the construction, in the north-west of the site, of a new wooden pavilion comprising a basement and four levels. It also includes the renovation of the boarding school (Internat), which is owned by the Abbey of Saint-Maurice, as well as the conversion of the existing building in the shape of an H.
