External Training

The contract timeline is as follows:

The framework award is expected to be awarded in March 2024 for a period of four calendar years. The prices submitted in the Pricing Schedule will be fixed for this 48-month duration. The framework may be re-opened annually to new entrants, who will be appointed for the remaining duration of the framework, with East Ayrshire Council anticipating reopening it once per year.

The core scope of work for this tender is to establish an "External Training and Workforce Skills Framework" to procure a range of Training Providers. The primary objective is to support East Ayrshire residents, aged over 16, who face multiple deprivations and at least two barriers to employment, in progressing towards sustainable employment destinations.

The framework is divided into two distinct lots:

• Lot 1: External Training (on behalf of Economic Development) - This lot involves the provision of various training courses.
• Lot 2: Industry Recognised Qualifications (on behalf of Workforce and Future Skills Team) - This lot focuses on delivering industry-recognised qualifications.

The Service Provider is obligated to perform the service in accordance with the Framework documentation and specification, demonstrating professionalism, skill, care, and diligence, while adhering to all relevant statutory obligations. This includes providing all requisite equipment, materials, and consumables, as well as arranging their own transportation.
