External Training

The framework award is anticipated in March 2024, with a total duration of four calendar years. Prices submitted in the Pricing Schedule will remain fixed for this 4-year period. A key milestone is the opportunity for the Service Provider to review tendered rates at the end of Year 2, specifically in March/April 2026. Additionally, the framework may be reopened annually for new entrants, who will be appointed for the remainder of the framework's duration.

The core scope of work for this tender is to establish a Framework of Training Providers. This framework aims to support the delivery of vocational training and facilitate progression to sustainable employment for participants. The target participants are East Ayrshire residents over 16 years of age who require intensive support to overcome at least two identified barriers to employment.

Key aspects of the work include:

• Providing vocational training and support for progression to sustainable employment.
• Targeting East Ayrshire residents over 16 with multiple barriers to employment.
• Adding value to existing provisions and offering innovative proposals that consider participant needs and labour market opportunities.
• Offering work based on the "Right Fit" for individual training and location within East Ayrshire.
• Forwarding all certificates and pass achievements to the Lead Team Council.
• The Service Provider is responsible for providing all necessary equipment, materials, and consumables for the proper performance and execution of the service.
• The overall "Service/Work" encompasses the functions detailed in the Tender Documents, Conditions of Contract, Specification, Pricing Schedule, and all supporting information that forms part of the Contract.
