TENDER DESCRIPTION

To increase efficiency further in the processes, invoice handling is to be digitised. In particular, the billing processes concerned are pursuant to Section 302 of SGB V and Section 105 of SGB XI. The scope of digitisation of incoming mail covers the invoice processes for aids, remedies, travel expenses, rehabilitation sports and functional training, midwives/birth care, care in kind benefits, day care and preventive care, advisory visits pursuant to Section 302 of SGB V as well as Section 105 of SGB XI. The contractor receives the client’s unopened letter and parcel mail (e.g. invoices or parts of invoices) in paper form. The contractor must independently and on its own responsibility carry out all preparatory work required for scanning the documents. This includes, for example, opening letter envelopes and shipping material, documenting the date of receipt of the mail and, if necessary, removing staples or other materials such as adhesive tapes. The incoming documents must be scanned by the contractor and provided as a PDF document of PDF version 1.7 in the PDF/A 1 format.
