    TENDER DESCRIPTION

    On the site of the Wilhelm-von-Oranien School (WvO) in Dillenburg, the 4-court sports hall (Nassau-Oranien Hall) was built in the 1980s on Mühlenstraße, at the corner of Hof-Feldbach-Straße. Due to its intensive use as a sports hall, among other things for more than 1,200 students of the WvO as well as other school and out-of-school uses (for example by surrounding clubs or by disaster protection), it has a fundamental need for renovation from an operational and energy-efficiency standpoint. The renovation of the sports hall is intended to ensure child-appropriate physical education at the school site in Dillenburg. In addition, many clubs should continue to be able to use the hall outside school hours in order to ensure the sporting benefit as well. The variety of clubs, differentiated in terms of sport and age, represents an important social component for the city and beyond. Furthermore, the renovation aims to increase energy efficiency and, if possible, to additionally install photovoltaic systems for sustainable operation of the building.
