TENDER DESCRIPTION

As part of the EFRE project "Erlebnis.NRW", the museum building of the Visitors’ Mine and Museum Kleinenbremen (BBMK) will be reinterpreted thematically and further developed for tourism purposes. The professional planning is being tendered up to and including the building- and technical implementation for the content-related and design-related redesign of the approximately 900 m² permanent exhibition at BBMK. The exhibition is intended to create an immersive, multisensory, and barrier-reduced overall experience along the "Weg der Bergleute" (Path of the Miners), dramaturgically connecting the museum, the underground world, the quarry, and the information centre TERRA.vita. From the project funding, initial content-related and professional foundations for the exhibition are already available; these serve as the starting point for the planning and must be further developed in the course of the assignment and optimised for visitors.
