TENDER DESCRIPTION

As part of the EFRE project "Erlebnis.NRW", the museum building of the Visitors’ Mine and Museum Kleinenbremen (BBMK) will be re-staged thematically and developed further for tourism. The invitation to tender covers specialist planning up to and including the constructional and technical implementation for the content-related and design-related redesign of the approximately 900 m² permanent exhibition of the BBMK. The exhibition is intended to create an immersive, multisensory and barrier-reduced overall experience along the "Weg der Bergleute" (Path of the Miners), connecting the museum, underground world, quarry and the TERRA.vita information centre with one another in terms of dramaturgy. From the project funding, initial content-related and technical/fachliche foundations for the exhibition are already available; these serve as the starting point for the planning and must be further elaborated by the planners within the scope of the contract and optimized for visitors.
