TENDER DESCRIPTION

1. The Police Headquarters in Frankfurt am Main is the largest regional police headquarters of the Hessian police. With the construction of the building and the police moving in in 2002, the ventilation technology has been in operation 24/7. The Police Headquarters Frankfurt am Main has 226 ventilation systems with around 3000 fire dampers. The fire dampers are used in the event of a fire to close and to protect escape and rescue routes from fire for a sufficient amount of time, thereby enabling people to escape safely from the building. The fire dampers are inspected every 3 years as part of a test in accordance with the Ordinance on the Inspection of Technical Systems and Facilities in Buildings (TPrüfVO). The inspection included the technical systems as well as the fire protection measures taken for them, with regard to their effectiveness and operational safety. The principles for the inspection of technical systems and facilities in accordance with the building law inspection ordinance were observed by building-law-recognized experts.
