TENDER DESCRIPTION
The existing building (reinforced concrete frame construction) was built in the early 1970s with a coloured exposed-concrete cladding façade made of prefabricated concrete elements with profiled front cladding panels and was used as a main school. In 2013, it was re-designated as the current “Mitwald School primary school”. The overall complex consists of two three-storey main buildings, in a south/north orientation, and a one-storey building section in an east/west orientation. A one-storey extension building, which was built at the end of the 1970s, adjoins to the south. Together, the buildings have approximately 16,100 m³ of enclosed volume. The total built-up area is approximately 2,500 m². The current three-form-entry primary school with its attached open all-day care provision is reaching its limits due to the high demand in terms of space availability. In particular in the canteen area, where the catering of the students is organised in two shifts, there is additional space demand, which is intended to be met by the planned extension.
