TENDER DESCRIPTION

The existing building (reinforced-concrete frame construction) was built in the early 1970s with a coloured curtain-facade made of prefabricated concrete components with profiled precast concrete cladding and was used as a main school. In 2013, it was redesignated as the current “Mitwald School primary school”. The overall facility consists of two three-storey main buildings, in a south/north direction, and a single-storey building section oriented east/west. A single-storey extension building, constructed at the end of 1970, adjoins to the south. Together, the buildings have approximately 16,100 m³ of enclosed volume. The total built-up area is approximately 2,500 m². The current 3-stream primary school with its attached open full-day care offering is reaching its limits in terms of available space due to high demand. In particular in the canteen area, where the students’ catering is organised in two shifts, additional space is needed; this is to be addressed with the planned extension.
