TENDER DESCRIPTION

In 2022, the Federal Foundation Bauakademie acquired its construction site property at Schinkelplatz 1, 10117 Berlin. The plot has a square layout with an area of approx. 2,000 m2. It is accessible freely from all four sides and is developed with an event hall (referred to as the “Red Hall”, single-storey, approx. 240 m2), a WC and storage container as well as a facade sample. The subject of this tender is facility-management services for property care. The services include regular inspection and care services, seasonal services (e.g. winter service, maintenance of the outdoor areas) as well as optional services upon individual order. The property including the “Red Hall” is to be visited regularly, in principle once a week. The work is carried out predominantly on working days from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 16:00. A contract with an initial term starting on 01.12.2026 for two years is to be concluded. The contracting authority is entitled to extend the contract term by 1 year by unilateral declaration, which must be received by the contractor at the latest by 31.08.2028. There is no legal entitlement to an extension of the contract until 30.11.2029.
