TENDER DESCRIPTION

Upon completion of the plan approval procedure for the new construction of the Federal Motorway 14 (BAB 14) in the state of Saxony-Anhalt in the traffic unit (VKE) 4157 from the Osterburg junction (AS) to the Seehausen-Nord junction (AS), the project is being handled by DEGES. Faunistic studies are available for this project as a basis for the landscape management expert examinations and the species protection contribution. A barrier fence survey of the amphibian fauna to determine the migration movements of the species has not yet been carried out. Corresponding indications were submitted during the public participation process by the responsible authorities as well as recognized nature conservation associations. The mapping results of the amphibian barrier fence survey provide knowledge about existing migration relationships in the area affected by the project and thus serve as a basis for the proper planning of crossing possibilities as well as guiding and blocking facilities.
