TENDER DESCRIPTION
With the completion of the planning approval procedure for the new construction of the Federal Motorway 14 (BAB 14) in the state of Saxony-Anhalt in traffic unit (VKE) 4157 from the Osterburg interchange (AS) to the Seehausen-Nord interchange (AS), the project is being handled by DEGES. Faunistic studies are available for this project as the basis for landscape management expert examinations and the species protection contribution. A fencing mapping of the amphibian fauna to determine the migration movements of the species has not yet been carried out. Corresponding indications were submitted within the framework of public participation in the procedure by the responsible authorities as well as recognized nature conservation associations. The mapping results of the fencing mapping of the amphibian fauna provide knowledge about existing migration relationships in the area affected by the project and thus serve as a basis for the proper planning of crossing options as well as guidance and barrier facilities.
