TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this tender is construction services for the barrier-free renewal and modernization of the Verkehrsbahnhof Eiserfeld (Sieg). In particular, the measure includes replacement construction of the pedestrian underpass including stair structures, construction of a barrier-free ramp system and a lift system, renewal of platform facilities including platform surfaces, platform equipment and weather-protected shelters, construction of drainage systems, as well as extensive cable deep construction and electrical engineering works. In addition, the contract includes several rail crossings using the pipe jacking method, trackbed works in the track area, as well as explosive ordnance detection surveys. The main quantities include: • approx. 2,300 m³ excavation of building pits, • approx. 470 m³ reinforced concrete and civil engineering services, • approx. 270 m² sheet piling installation, • approx. 620 m² new construction of platform paving areas, • approx. 320 m adjustment and reinstallation of existing platform edges, • approx. 2,000 m cable protective duct runs, • construction of 2 weather-protected shelters, • manufacture of 3 rail crossings using the pipe jacking…
