TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Samtgemeinde Elm-Asse intends to procure approx. 200 sets of firefighting incident clothing (jacket and trousers) under a leasing contract with an initial term of three years and an extension option twice for one year (maximum of five years). The lessor provides expert cleaning, processing, drying, documentation and the timely return delivery of personal protective equipment (PPE) for fire departments and other responsible entities. The services must be provided in compliance with all relevant statutory, standardisation-related and hygiene requirements. The protective clothing must comply with the relevant standards, in particular EN 469:2020, performance level 2. In addition, a waterproof and water-vapour-permeable membrane in the liner system is required, as well as a demonstrated flammability test in accordance with EN 469:2020, Annex D, and wash-fast labelling using barcodes, RFID or NFC.
