TENDER DESCRIPTION
According to current knowledge, a total of five beetle species listed in Annexes II and/or IV of the FFH Directive occur in Rhineland-Palatinate (RLP), which are subject to FFH monitoring in the state: - Cerambyx cerdo Linnaeus, 1758 Great Capricorn Beetle - Cucujus cinnaberinus (Scopoli, 1763) Scarlet Beetle - Limoniscus violaceus (Müller, 1821) Violet Root-neck Click Beetle - Lucanus cervus (Linnaeus, 1758) Stag Beetle - Osmoderma eremita (Scopoli, 1763) Hermit Beetle The State Office for the Environment (LfU) is responsible for monitoring the FFH species in RLP. For the purpose of carrying out monitoring of the FFH beetle species, pursuant to reporting obligations to the EU, the LfU, hereinafter referred to as the client (AG), wishes to employ external mappers, hereinafter referred to as contractors (AN). The services to be provided by the AN may consist of the following components depending on the lot (see also Table 3): 1. Kick-off meetings 2. Updating the distribution pattern 3. Supplementing the number of sample plots 4. Checking and delimiting the sample plots as well as conducting the FFH monitoring on the sample plots 5. Preparation of a final report on the service
