TENDER DESCRIPTION

According to current knowledge, a total of five beetle species from Annexes II and/or IV of the FFH Directive occur in Rhineland-Palatinate (RLP) that are subject to FFH monitoring in the state: - Cerambyx cerdo Linnaeus, 1758 Oak Longhorned Beetle - Cucujus cinnaberinus (Scopoli, 1763) Scarlet Beetle - Limoniscus violaceus (Müller, 1821) Violet Root Collar Click Beetle - Lucanus cervus (Linnaeus, 1758) Stag Beetle - Osmoderma eremita (Scopoli, 1763) Hermit Beetle The State Office for the Environment (LfU) is responsible for monitoring FFH species in RLP. For the purpose of conducting monitoring of FFH beetle species in accordance with reporting obligations to the EU, the LfU, hereinafter referred to as the client (AG), wishes to engage external mappers, hereinafter referred to as contractors (AN).
