TENDER DESCRIPTION

Existing buildings: In the outdoor area of the listed building of the Ministry of Finance at Düsternbrooker Weg 64 in Kiel, all external facilities (in the inner courtyard and around the Ministry of Finance including demolition of the arcades, expansion of bicycle parking facilities, creation of comprehensive charging infrastructure, biodiversity etc.) are to be planned anew. The restaurant “60 seconds to napoli” belonging to the building and the associated outdoor areas are also to be considered. In 2025, a study was carried out to redesign the entire outdoor areas. The client (Ministry of Finance) and the user wish to further develop and implement the results of the study. The rear office development of the arcades is now to be demolished as part of a preliminary measure, and the area that will arise is to be prepared for a redesign. The arcade wall is under heritage protection and must be retained and supported and protected by suitable measures.
