TENDER DESCRIPTION

Within the context of this, funding will be provided for the implementation of an Action for the systematic strengthening of the financial literacy of students in Primary and Secondary Education, as well as for the active involvement of teachers, Education Counsellors and parents in the development of responsible financial knowledge, skills and attitudes. In particular, the programme aims to enable students to understand basic economic and financial concepts, to manage responsibly the resources available to them, to plan needs and expenses, to evaluate alternative options and to make well-founded related decisions in their daily lives. At the same time, it seeks to strengthen their ability to recognize risks related to digital transactions, misleading advertising, over-indebtedness, financial fraud and other precarious practices. The programme also aims to empower teachers with appropriate educational material, knowledge and methodological tools for the effective teaching of financial literacy.
