TENDER DESCRIPTION
ReFoPlan: "Foreign-related Regulation: Comparison of Different Approaches and Development of Improvement Options - Preliminary Study" The BMUKN and the UBA are engaged in several subject areas with similar questions regarding the design and implementation of regulations that also refer to matters abroad (regulation with extraterritorial effect). A comprehensive overview has not yet been conducted. The study aims to identify and classify differences and similarities of previous regulatory approaches based on reference areas, address overarching legal issues, and formulate improvement options and future research questions. This includes questions of legality and legal protection as well as simplification for bureaucracy reduction and effective enforceability, particularly the determination and verification of facts. Expert interviews will support the professional analysis of the subject areas and ensure the practical relevance of the results. The reference areas to be examined include, among others, supply chain legislation and sustainability criteria for biofuels and bio-combustibles.
