TENDER DESCRIPTION

EVUPlan: “Development of a methodology for determining aquathermal heat supply potentials from surface waters (Doris)” The objective of the project is the development of a scientifically sound and reproducible methodology for determining and spatially presenting aquathermal heat supply potentials in Germany. In doing so, in particular surface waters are to be considered as renewable heat sources, and the various potential stages—from the physical heat supply to the exploitable potential—are to be systematically described and methodologically linked. A focus is placed on the further development of a methodology for determining potential on the supply side, taking into account technical, ecological and other boundary conditions as well as cumulative effects of multiple uses. In addition, a suitable data basis will be developed in which relevant waterbody data are structured for capture, assessment and made usable for future potential analyses. Furthermore, conceptual foundations are created for a later spatial presentation of aquathermal potentials.
