Construction and delivery ready for operation of a patrol boat type PB29-3 for the Flotte Hamburg Description of tasks of the patrol boat: In future, the patrol boat is to be used by Flotte Hamburg GmbH & Co. KG for water-protection police operations in the coastal sea area, the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), the Unterelbe, and the Port of Hamburg. The new patrol boat provides technical, tactical and functional redundancy for the patrol boats “Bürgermeister Brauer” and “Bürgermeister Nevermann” and must meet their requirements 100%. The new procurement serves to ensure a uniform technical, operational and safety-relevant standard within the FLH and to maintain the operational capability and interchangeability of the patrol boats under changing operational requirements.
