TENDER DESCRIPTION

Since 1989, the Niederrhein-Therme has been operated by the contracting authority in Revierpark Mattlerbusch. The thermal bath features 15 saunas, 2 thermal brine pools, a wave and leisure pool, thus offering a comprehensive health-oriented range for all target groups. In May 2021, a renovation report was prepared for the thermal bath, which identifies the most urgent measures to maintain and restore the operational safety of the facility. To guarantee or restore operational safety, the contracting authority has decided on the concept of a complete renovation of the thermal bath. The current area including the outdoor facilities is available and is aimed at an annual number of 320,000 - 360,000 visitors. The new facility is to feature a forward-looking energy concept. Techniques and building materials should be used here that guarantee a CO²-neutral bath operation with heat recovery and economical consumption media with environmentally friendly, ecological sustainability.
