Object planning LP 6-9 according to Par.34 HOAI The equipment house of the Volunteer Fire Brigade department Forstenried was built in the 1970s. At the time of construction, the area covered by the department was less densely populated than today, and the range of tasks of a volunteer fire brigade has been significantly expanded over time. To tactically handle the higher population density as well as the extended range of tasks and to comply with response times, additional vehicles and more personnel are required. For this purpose, the equipment house is to be extended by a vehicle aisle as well as larger training and recreational areas. The equipment house of the FFW-Forstenried is a longitudinally oriented gable roof building located gable-end on Forstenrieder Allee 177. The building is part of a listed ensemble. The planning provides for an eastern extension for a fourth parking space. The building will be extended by approx. 6.50m for this purpose. An external double-flight staircase is planned on the east side and will serve in the future as a second structural escape route.
