TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the centre of the city of Hanau there is the (retail) department store building of the department store group Galeria S.à r.l. & Co. KG (formerly Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof GmbH), which was built in 1957 (retail) and, following the end of its use, is owned by the city of Hanau and is to be further developed by it into the “Stadthof Hanau”. In the building, retail units, restaurants and cafés, exhibition and public areas as well as offices are to be accommodated. For this reason, the contracting authority intends to modernise and revitalise the Stadthof Hanau building and, to this end, to carry out the necessary construction measures. The subject of the procurement procedure is the award of a contract for the installation of lifting equipment (elevators and escalators) in the Stadthof Hanau building (hereinafter the “services”). These form part of the required trades/packages for the modernisation and revitalisation of the Stadthof Hanau.
