TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Fire and Rescue Service intends to procure a vehicle-based IT support system for the organisation's emergency response vehicles (approx. 80 units). Vehicle-based IT support means hardware and software installed in vehicles that can handle alarm reception, navigation, status signalling, mission support, and command support. The goal of the procurement is to obtain one and the same system from a single supplier. Uniformity is sought in the form of a common platform of hardware and software. Service and support as well as updates must be managed without operational disruptions. Depending on the function and vehicle type, different vehicles shall be equipped with different hardware and software. The vehicle types are resource vehicles, rescue vehicles, command vehicles, and FIB vehicles, and the specification of requirements is adapted accordingly depending on the vehicle type.
