TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Agency for Justice and Enforcement (hereinafter: AJH) is seeking a contractor for the following contract: Providing tailor-made forensic treatment, both individually and in a group, for sex offenders held in a dedicated unit in the Dendermonde Remand Prison. The treatment offer is aimed at promoting reintegration and reducing recidivism of sex offenders in society. The contract is open to centres for mental health care recognized and subsidized by the Flemish Community, as well as to psychiatric hospitals recognized by the Flemish Community, which have been designated by the Flemish minister responsible for care as a specialized facility for the guidance and treatment of sex offenders. These organizations may submit an offer in which entering into cooperation arrangements with one another is strongly recommended, so that a joint offer is created within the prison, comprising both outpatient and residential care services. In addition, the contractor focuses on the flow of care and treatment provision outside the prison.
