TENDER DESCRIPTION

The aim of the project is to involve and increasingly consider youth interests in the preservation of biological diversity. Socioeconomically disadvantaged young people as well as young people with diverse cultural, religious, and educational backgrounds are to be specifically motivated to participate in the Youth Congress 2028. Accordingly, a focus topic (e.g., nature conservation in marginalized rural regions or structurally weak towns) will be selected that also addresses (seemingly) nature-distant target groups. To experience self-efficacy, participants will conceive and implement their own project ideas during the course of the project. The Youth Congress 2028 will be integrated into various departmental activities with youth. The project is a valuable contribution to the implementation of the National Strategy for Biological Diversity 2030 (implementation of measure 5.2.2 of the 1st action plan. Promotion of goal 5.2).
