TENDER DESCRIPTION

COMUE Lyon Saint Etienne carries out, on behalf of and for the account of the CNSMD de Lyon, the rehabilitation of the SAONE building, and its extension with a view to the construction of a modular hall (auditorium). The archaeological assessment for this area has been delivered and it reveals the presence of significant archaeological remains. In light of the conclusions of this assessment, the prefect, by Order No. 2026-641 of 3 July 2026, ordered the carrying out of preventive excavations prior to development works for the aforementioned area. The Business Consultation File (DCE) includes, in particular, the Special Administrative Clauses Book (CCAP), the Special Technical Clauses Book and its appendices, in particular the Scientific Specifications Book (CCS). The latter specifies the scope, objectives and content of the preventive excavation mission. This contract therefore has as its purpose the carrying out of preventive archaeological excavations.
