TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract concerns the supply of slaked hydrated lime for the treatment of fumes and water treatment at the Lyon South Treatment and Energy Recovery Unit (UTVE) and for the treatment of sludge from wastewater treatment plants (STEP) of the Metropolis of Lyon. The special technical specifications (CCTP) of the contract set out the supply arrangements for lime for: - The Lyon South Treatment and Energy Recovery Unit (UTVE), managed by the Waste Department. Hydrated slaked lime is used for the preparation of lime slurry necessary for the treatment of wet fumes and the treatment of the resulting effluents. In fumes treatment, the lime slurry neutralizes acids contained in the fumes.
