TENDER DESCRIPTION

This contract covers the supply and licensing, installation, commissioning, maintenance and support of a unified online software solution (web platform) in a secure environment, intended for the correction and grading of written exam assessments, homework assignments and programming code. The details are set out in the technical requirements, further on in this document. The framework agreement also covers the provision of the web platform and its use, support services, corrective and developmental maintenance, training and guidance required for the proper use of the platform. The platform may be used by the entire University. For inventory purposes, licences will be counted per course enrolment, i.e. the enrolment of a student in a teaching unit that is subject to an indefinite number of assessments using the platform. Examples: • a student enrolled in courses A, B and C represents three enrolments; • two students enrolled in course A represent two enrolments. The proposed solution must be a standard commercial solution that has been fully operational for at least one year prior to the deadline for submission of tenders.
