The contract timeline is structured with a firm tranche and multiple optional tranches. The firm tranche has an execution period of 11 months, starting from the notification of the contract. Each optional tranche (n°1 for audio system for hearing impaired, n°2 for complete audio system renewal, and n°3 for extension of technical maintenance) also has an execution period of 11 months, commencing from the notification of the decision to affirm that specific tranche, unless a different period is specified in the decision. The deadline for affirming optional tranches n°1, n°2, and n°3 is 3 months.

Key milestones and phases for the project include:

• January 2027: First training session, delivery, and commissioning of the remote computer.
• May-June 2027: Delivery and commissioning of the projection system and simulation software.
• June 2027: Second training session.
• July 2027: Opening to the public.
• October 2027: Official inauguration.

Regarding documentation, the "Dossier des ouvrages exécutés (DOE)" must be submitted within a maximum of 30 days after the execution of the services.

The prices of the contract are based on the economic conditions of the month of submission of offers. This month is identified as April 2025 in one document and September 2026 in another. Prices will be updated if more than three months pass between the offer submission date and the start date of the service execution for a tranche.

The core scope of work for this tender is the supply, installation, and commissioning of new audiovisual and simulation equipment for the planetarium at Espace Mendès France.

The Statement of Work is broken down into a firm tranche and several optional tranches:

• Firm Tranche: This involves the complete renewal of the simulation/projection system and all associated services.
• Optional Tranche 1: This covers the delivery and installation of an audio system specifically designed for the hearing impaired.
• Optional Tranche 2: This entails the complete renewal of the existing audio system.
• Optional Tranche 3: This provides for an extension of the technical maintenance duration.

Core deliverables and general services include:

• Delivery and installation of equipment, including supports, covers, casings, technical bays, and cabinets.
• Integration of equipment into technical control room bays, the animation console, and other functional or specially arranged locations.
• Installation of data, audio, video, and all necessary low-current cabling for system functionality, with all cables to be labeled.
• Establishment of all connections (between devices, and with internet/ethernet networks), along with associated network settings.
• Execution of adjustments, settings, and configuration tasks for the proper operation of mechanical, optical, electronic, or computer equipment, including software installation.
• The digital system and simulator components include astronomical simulation software with capabilities for atmospheric effects and planetary landscape reconstructions, along with other scientific or technical simulation capabilities.
• For each key stage of the mission, a deliverable must be submitted to validate the performed service.
• The contractor is also responsible for protecting the work areas, cleaning up all execution waste, removing packaging, and conducting a fine cleaning to ensure the premises are ready for use by the buyer.
