TENDER DESCRIPTION

The technical renovation of the planetarium at Espace Mendès France is carried out within the framework of the project "Odyssey, exploring space" co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). This technical renovation notably includes the complete renewal of the planetarium’s simulation/projection equipment. Thanks to this renewal, Espace Mendès France aims to equip itself with a high-performance system not only in astronomy but also in other scientific or technical fields thanks to the possibilities of simulation and access to different types of content usable by the software. The contract is divided into 4 lots: 1 firm lot and 3 optional lots. The firm lot notably includes the cleaning of the dome, the replacement of the current simulation/projection system with a 5-channel "full dome" video projection system associated with real-time simulation software, the supply and installation of complementary equipment (lighting, spare parts, 2 films...), training in the use of all installed systems, and preventive technical maintenance of the installed equipment.
