Framework agreement for the procurement of servers, storage, network equipment and associated services.

The contract has a total agreement period that does not exceed four years, with options for extension up to two years at a time. The agreement is automatically extended for the next option period if the client does not provide written notice of non-renewal at least 3 months before the end of the current agreement period. Specific delivery times and other deadlines are to be detailed in Annex 4, which is to be completed by the Supplier based on the Client's guidelines.

The core scope of work for this tender involves the delivery of servers, storage solutions, and network equipment, along with associated services.

Key deliverables and requirements include:

• Hardware and Software:
• Provision of various product groups: Servers, Storage, and Network equipment.
• All components and hosts must be certified and supported for the client's existing VMware environment.
• Supply of a license model for server operating systems and database software, specifically mentioning Microsoft Datacenter and MS SQL or equivalent.
• The offered solution must be technically suitable, provide sufficient performance, and be redundant and scalable to allow for expansion as needed during the contract period.
• All deliveries must comply with current Norwegian laws, regulations, and relevant standards, including suitable and approved power connections, cables, and other accessories.
• Documentation and Maintenance:
• The supplier must maintain an online, net-based overview of drivers used for the individual products, accessible by model number.
• Provision of necessary standard product documentation, user manuals, and technical documentation.
• Services:
• Assembly/installation services.
• Repairs outside of warranty.
• Consultancy and advisory services.
• In cases of defective on arrival (DOA) units or other justified new product complaints, the supplier must provide prompt replacement with a new unit of the same model, or an equivalent/better model if the original is unavailable, at no extra cost to the client. The supplier is responsible for return shipping and associated logistics.
• The supplier must describe optional service agreements and service levels, particularly for critical datacenter components such as servers, storage solutions, network components, firewalls, controllers, and other vital infrastructure equipment.
• Compliance and Acceptance:
• The delivery must be in accordance with the customer's needs description and requirement specification (Bilag 1), and the supplier's description of the delivery (Bilag 2).
• There will be no special acceptance test beyond ordinary control to ensure the delivery matches the order. The client will inspect the delivery within a reasonable time after receipt and report any deviations without undue delay.
