Framework for The Supply, Installation, Maintenance and Relocation of Stairlifts

TENDER DESCRIPTION

• Supply and installation of stair lifts for use within domestic properties (including a minimum of a 12-month warranty to cover an annual service at month 11 and all callouts and repairs). • Repair and maintenance of existing stair lifts within Council-owned domestic properties following the expiry of the initial warranty period. This will apply to stair lifts installed by the Contractor during the new contract as well as stair lifts currently in place. • Removal, temporary storage and re-siting of stair lifts from domestic properties. Where re-siting is to be considered, this would be subject to a condition report. • Hold separately a minimum of 10 units - including two of each stairlift type for priority cases. • Provide demonstrations of equipment when required during the term of the contract, including when a stairlift is installed, property is re-let or a customer needs further demonstration. Demonstration must include full explanation to the Customer of how to operate the stairlift and include observing the Customer using the stairlift competently.
