TENDER DESCRIPTION

TLBV plans the construction of a new section of the B 281 Rockendorf - Krölpa. The bypass of the town is classified in the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan 2030 as having urgent need. The subject of the invitation to tender is faunal investigations to record the bat fauna in the context of the planning of the planned new route of approx. 6.0 km in length for the B 281n between Rockendorf and Pößneck. The planned alignment runs predominantly through areas shaped by agriculture and crosses various bodies of water, valley areas and woodland/vegetation structures; due to the natural features of the landscape, possible occurrences of bats and their use of the route areas must be recorded and assessed. The investigations include in particular detector surveys with stationary and mobile recording, automatic acoustic recordings using bat detectors in so-called “Horchboxen” (acoustic monitoring boxes), and, if required, mist-netting and the inspection of potential roost structures.
