Regarding the subsequent commissioning, the client aims for timely implementation, and participants are expected to begin further processing immediately after receiving the commission. The commissioning of services for phases 2-9 will occur step-by-step, subject to the approval of political bodies and the funding provider for individual applications. The commissioning of these services may also be granted in sections if a complete implementation at once is not feasible.

The core scope of work for this tender is a landscape architectural realization competition with traffic components for the redesign of the town center in the municipality of Heikendorf.

The high-level summary of the Statement of Work and core deliverables includes the following:

• Explanatory Report: Textual explanations of the design, maximum two DIN A4 pages, covering:
• Landscape architectural guiding idea and integration into the surroundings.
• Description of the uses and themes of streets, paths, and squares (e.g., quality of stay, play, traffic use, meeting points, events).
• Description of design elements, particularly for sub-areas 1-3 (e.g., furniture, materials, greenery).
• Traffic concept/development, stationary traffic, and traffic guidance for pedestrians and cyclists.
• Surface drainage.
• Climate protection/climate change adaptation.
• Sustainability/economic efficiency, including the reduction of construction, maintenance, and upkeep costs.
• Material Descriptions: Abbildungen und Beschreibungen der gewählten Materialien.
• Area Calculation: According to a form sheet, including information on paved areas, green spaces, number of trees (old/new), and parking spaces (old/new).
• Three Design Plans M 1:250: Illustrating roadways, pedestrian and cycle paths, squares, placement and arrangement of parking spaces, greenery, furniture, and lighting for specific sub-areas (Teilbereich 1: Dorfplatz/new Marktplatz/Schulredder, Einmündung Laboer Weg, Dorfstraße inkl. Einmündung Schulredder; Teilbereich 2: Dorfstraße und Am Schmiedeplatz; Teilbereich 3: Hafenstraße / Tankstelle / Teichtor / Dorfstraße / Möltenorter Weg).
• Two Dimensioned Street Cross-sections M 1:100: Each with a detailed view in plan, for Dorfstraße/Schulredder in front of the town hall and Dorfstraße at Schmiedeplatz.
• Two Perspectives: To clarify the basic design idea for specific areas (Dorfstraße over the new market square, view towards the town hall entrance; and from Teichtor over Dorfstraße to Schmiedeplatz).
• Author's Declaration: To be submitted in a sealed, opaque envelope.
• Plan Directory: A list of all submitted documents.

The planning services expected correspond to phases 2-9 of HOAI (German Fee Schedule for Architects and Engineers), specifically for outdoor facilities/traffic facilities, classified under fee zone IV (basic rate).
