TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject is a framework agreement with a voucher volume of 3,000 pre-paid vouchers with call-off capacity. A voucher covers sequencing and data processing, as well as the provision of raw and processed data for each analyzed bioprobe. Sequencing and data processing are awarded jointly to a single contractor, contrary to the principle of division into lots. This is technically required: Acceptance of sequencing quality and the decision on whether to repeat or re-sequence individual samples are made exclusively on the basis of QC feedback from the data processing performed directly by the same contractor. Splitting between two contractors would create an additional contractual coordination and liability interface at this interface and would delay the intended timely repeat-/re-sequencing decision.
