TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject matter is a framework agreement with a voucher volume of 3,000 prepaid vouchers with call-off capacity. A voucher covers sequencing and data processing as well as the provision of raw and processed data for each analyzed biological sample. Sequencing and data processing are, contrary to the principle of division into lots, awarded jointly to a single contractor. This is technically necessary: acceptance of sequencing quality and the decision on whether to repeat or re-sequence individual samples are made exclusively on the basis of the QC feedback from the data processing provided directly by the same contractor. Splitting the work between two contractors would create an additional contractual coordination and liability interface at this interface and would delay the intended timely repeat-/re-sequencing decision.
