The contract duration, excluding any options, is 24 months. The start date is determined by the date indicated in the Statement of Commencement of Activities ("Verbale di inizio attività"). The contract is stipulated no earlier than 32 days from the last communication of the award decision and within 60 days from the award. The contract's duration can be extended for up to an additional 12 months if there's an increase or decrease in services up to one-fifth of the contract amount or if the contracting authority extends the temporal validity while contract value is still available. Furthermore, the contract may be prolonged for the time strictly necessary to finalize the process of selecting a new contractor under specific conditions.

The core scope of work for this tender involves two main components:

1. Supply of a software infrastructure: This is defined as a supply without installation.

2. Provision of professional services: These services require specialized technical knowledge for conceiving solutions and are categorized as intellectual services. Specifically, these professional services are for the implementation and consulting of the Celonis tool for PagoPA S.p.A., considering its organizational and technological context.

The activities covered by the tender, also referred to as "Servizi" or "Prestazioni," are excluded from the scope of Article 11 of the Code.

The professional services encompass:

• Implementation methodology: This includes the operational model for process analysis, platform configuration, and production release.
• Project management and quality control: This covers project governance, escalation mechanisms, monitoring tools, and quality metrics to achieve contractual objectives.
• Risk management: This involves identifying main project risks related to implementation within PagoPA S.p.A.'s context and detailing planned countermeasures, responsibilities, and mitigation plan activation thresholds.
• Phased rollout plan: This outlines the deployment plan in successive phases, including milestones, acceptance criteria for each phase, and critical dependencies on existing systems and processes.

The tender also covers services related to "Celonis Infrastructure (Processi in continuità)" and "Celonis Infrastructure (Nuovi processi)," as well as the provision of professional figures such as Project Manager, Data Engineer Senior, and Data Analyst Senior.
